In the goings on of our happy new life as parents, a lot of the time our relationship gets backburnered (verb?).

But then we have a day full of laughter and jokes and I watch my husband with our child and I fall in love all over again.

1st Anniversary
I'm so happy that six years ago we chose each other. In a way, this is the hardest relationship to maintain, but if you think about it, it's the only familial relationship that one chooses. I chose him six years ago and I'm still oh so happy about that.

2nd Anniversary
Newlywed life was hard. Jamming two completely different people into one home, one life is hard. Managing infertility is hard.

But when you make it to the other side, it's glorious.

3rd Anniversary
It's me and him. Forever. Someday (many, many, MANY years from now), BG will be out on her own and it will be just me and him again. Thank God I chose someone who makes me laugh harder than anyone else on the planet.

4th Anniversary
I love you babe. I love your laugh. I love how you say the most off the wall things that make sense only to you. I love how hard you love our child. I love how hard you work for your girls.

5th Anniversary
I LOVE YOU.
