savannah trip: part 2

You can read Part 1 here...

Monday morning, we got up early and went to do a bit of visiting. We went by BG's old sitter's house to visit and then to my old office. It was crazy seeing BG interact with all the kids she used to go to "school" with. They were all so curious about her and she was not a huge fan of that many kiddos being in her face. She just kept crawling off on her own to play. Nice...

That afternoon my grandparent's best friend's granddaughter (got that?) came over for a while to entertain BG. BG was in awe of her. She just sat there and watched everything she did. It was pretty cute.

BG is currently a huge fan of big, open mouth kisses. However, she usually saves them for me, but on this day, her Daddy was playing on the other side of the glass door from her and she started giving him kisses through the window.

This picture here? probably my favorite one of her so far. It's just so daggum sweet!

We headed out for dinner with the family that night where we quickly found out about BG's love of all things lemon.

She's so weird. Right after this video, she wanted more. Odd kid.

After dinner, we drove over to BG's Auntie KK's house for BG and Kathryn to play for a bit. I'm not sure that I will ever get tired of seeing these little girls together...

After a quick bath in the tiny sink (super fun), we packed up and went to sleep so we could hit the road bright and early. We got up at the crack of dawn and hit the road. This one had the best seat in the house and took full advantage.

We stopped in Columbia to stretch our legs and just get out of the car for a minute. Mr. P and I were both wiped out, so we let the little one drive the rest of the way.

Obviously not really, but he did let me drive which is almost as bad.

Oh yeah, I have been reading about your birthday preparations. I wasn't so prepared, but it was fun! I can't wait to see what you have in store. These precious girls...I am dreading next Sunday. I was glad to have it early because it wasn't as real to me. It has been so fun to follow another baby and mommy with the same birthday! A day that will be forever in our hearts! Anytime I get upset, I can just think about that day and I am all better.
