tidbits.

We're currently in the packing up and moving on stage of life again.

Back when we first moved up here, we rented a two bedroom (tiny) apartment to stay in temporarily while we figured out the area and where we wanted to settle down.

Well, our lease is up there and we still have no clue where we want to "settle" down.

I will say this though; this area is quickly growing on me. I don't know what it is, but I'm good to stay here for a while. At this moment, hubs is right there with me.

Holy cow. An agreement. Wow.

So we rented a two bedroom (not so tiny) house in a very desirable neighborhood close to the downtown area. I. Am. In. Love.

It's an older home with hardwood floors, a huge backyard, on a tree lined street, with quiet neighbors. It's perfect.

There's also already a swingset/playset in the backyard.

So BG is a fan.

Currently half of our stuff is here and half is at the apartment. Without fail, whatever item you need at the moment will for sure be in the other living space.

Ask hubs. Or don't. Because I don't want him to remember his failed quest for underwear the other day.

Oops.

Tonight I left Mr. P and BG alone to go grab some stuff from the apartment. I got a text on the way back from him with this picture...

Apparently he left her for five minutes to get the door for the pizza guy and came back to caramel everywhere.

Clearly he doesn't realize you can't leave food anywhere near her. I don't even want to know where she got it from. She's like a food aggressive dog. You could lose a limb.

Except for when she's being picky and not eating. But that picture doesn't show that side, so.. next.

Our king bed won't fit in the bedroom here at the house. So we're pulling out the guest bedroom queen. This could be tough. We haven't slept on a queen (willingly) since the third month of our marriage. Fingers crossed this goes well....

I'm so glad that you're liking the area and that you've found a new place to rent. We have a queen-sized bed and there are some nights that I SWEAR that I'm going to go out and buy a king-sized, but after over 6 years of marriage, I kind of like it now :-)

Good luck with the rest of the moving process!

Yay for an awesome new house! Can't wait to see pics! J and I sleep in a Queen and we are NOT small people (J is 6'5", 220 lbs) -- so you guys will be fine in a Queen once you adjust.
I love E and the carmel - lol about being an agressive dog. She's so cute!

That pic of BG with the carmel--priceless! She is such a little ham! I love it. When we moved into our first rental house which we looooved, our nightstands didn't fit in the room--well, they wouldn't fit if we ya know, wanted the bed in there too. It was super classy, no nightstands for two years. Ha!

Love the pic. I know what you mean about going back and forth of going after all food to being very picky about what food you give them. Good luck on the rental house!

The house sounds so cute! I'm glad you like the area you're in, that's so hard when you have to up and move somewhere you're not familiar with. Cooper is the same way with food. He screams if there is not food the second we put him in his highchair. And if I'm eating something in front of him, you can just forget about me finishing it, he HAS to have what I'm having.

Gosh she is so cute--what a little stinkpot!

Good luck with all of the packing and moving :)
