Best. Saturday. Ever.

Last night was iffy.

We decided to meet up after work/school and the little to our town's annual Christmas tree lighting. Perhaps it was the fact that it didn't start until 6 (really 7) which is pretty much bedtime, or the fact that it was cold, or just the fact that the dang band played for an hour while the entire town just wanted to see some lights but homegirl was a wreck. She wanted nothing to do with behaving or being the slightest bit cooperative. It was BAD.

**the entire night ended up being worth it with some pretty cute pictures but that post will have to be saved for a day I have a computer that works.

Last night I was feeling pretty down in the dumps about being a Mother. It is just plain hard.

But then.... She slept til 9 this morning and woke up with a smile. We played and laughed as we decorated her dresser with stickers(yes, that is okay when it makes her SO happy). We watched some Barney and did the "Happy and You know It" dance right along with him. We made eggs and toast for breakfast. We ran errands where she smiled and waved at everyone and behaved amazingly as she thumbed through a book in the cart. She is currently on nap number two for the day and my sanity is at an all time high.

Today? I am rocking this Mom hat. Tomorrow? Who knows I guess that's part of what makes this such an exciting ride.

Girl...I know you're pain. Somedays I am in control...others, I am a mess. You are doing great as a mother. In fact, I think you need to add another to the mix. =)

I lost my patience with G today for the first time (verbally, Griffin stop doing that!) (at which point he didn't notice at all) and we had had a REALLY good day. I feel ya, yo.

So restorative that they have those amazing days :) Love them. Glad you're back to feeling yourself!

I love the way you write/word things! I totally agree we have had some very unpredictable days around here lately!
