my kind of giveaway!

brave_cover_art
When I was given the chance to review a copy of the movie Brave, I jumped at the chance. I didn't know anything about the movie, except that the character had red hair and could shoot a bow and arrow, but I was determined to lock down a copy for BG for Christmas to add to her Disney collection so this came at the perfect time.

BG isn't quite to the point where she will sit and watch a movie, so during nap time on Sunday, Mr. P and I popped in the movie to check it out.

Not even two minutes into the movie we were both marveling at the graphics. They are insane y'all. And so realistic.

Going into the movie, I kind of thought it would be a "war" type movie or some other big "Princess saves her country" kind of conflict so I was completely surprised by the plot line. Surprised in a great way.

I loved this movie. Both Mr. P and I laughed out loud multiple times and neither one of us moved an inch while it was on. While I love the typical Disney love story plot line, this one was different and I loved it. It's got a very family dynamic and most of the battles in this movie are internal battles as opposed to your typical external battles.

And in typical post-BG behavior, I totally cried at the end. Seriously, that kid ruined me. But just you wait til you see this movie.

And see it you can, because I have a copy of the Brave Ultimate Collector's Edition 5-Disc Set which includes a Blu-ray 3D disc, 2 Blu-ray discs with shorts and special features, a DVD and a digital copy to give away here on the blog.

Be sure and enter below for your chance to win! Contest will end and winner will be announced on Saturday, November 10th.

**I was given a copy of the movie to review, but all opinions are my own.**

I have to say that my favorite Disney movies aren't those with princesses, but if I had to choose it would be Tiana since she's a great cook. :)

It's definitely a Belle/ Ariel toss up! (although now that Disney has bought Lucasarts does that mean that Princess Leia can now be my favourite Disney princess?)

My little one loves her Cinderella baby. :)
