Christmas 2010- Christmas Day (cont.)

After we finished opening presents Christmas morning, were showered, dressed, and the food Mr. P was cooking was ready, we headed down to the lake house my family had rented for Round 2. We at a more than delicious lunch prepared by Mr. P, Aunt Texas, and my grandmother before we opened presents.

As soon as lunch was over, everyone was ready to hit the gifts.

Okay, in reality, everyone just wanted to see BG hit the gifts. She kind of made our Christmas.

:)

The first present was Max from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". She loved it! We've been reading the book for a while. Think she recognized him?!

Uncle Texas was in charge of getting those toys out of the boxes. A little bit ridiculous hard actually.

Uncle Marine was pretty interested in some of the little one's toys..

When the little was done, we not as fun to photograph adults opened our gifts. Once again, I was spoiled and beyond blessed by my family again. They always go way above and beyond what they need to.

We hit the road not too much later. Word on the street was our little town was fixing to get hit with a snowstorm and we did not want to attempt to drive in that.

Once we got home, Uncle Marine decided to go ahead and hit the road back to Base so that he wouldn't have to worry about getting caught in the bad weather.

Before he could leave it started snowing. I was pretty stoked that BG's first Christmas was ending as a white one. How perfect.

She didn't really know what to think, but she didn't cry, so success in my book!

She had a big day.

Once the little was asleep, we took the dogs out for a bit to run around in the snow and have a little grown up time in the snow.

Which obviously was a snow ball fight.

Absolutely perfect Christmas.

So adorable! BG makes the best faces -- like the ones opening gifts and in the snow.

I love the family pic with the pets looking every which way! :) But your boots in that pic are super cute!
