a very fairy birthday part 2: birthday girl and friends

When it came time for Baby Girl's first birthday party, I decided to hold it back down in Savannah. We had been in SC for about six months and had yet to build any great relationships while here and I knew that our closest friends and most family would be easier to celebrate with back there.

After the party, I told Mr. P that for sure we would hold her second birthday party at home. In South Carolina. Though I was a bit afraid at that time of what our life would look like and if things would be any different relationship wise.

Well, I should've known I had nothing to worry about.

We love where we live. And no doubt, one of the main reasons is because of the people we surround ourselves with. Y'all, we have amazing friends.

BG's two little buddies from school (her favorite little people on the planet) were able to come and BG was thrilled. She took off running for them both when they showed up. Those three are going to give us trouble one day but right now, they're just plain adorable.

Playing a game of chase. Love them.

My best friend brought her two little kiddos all the way up from Savannah. My other best friend came up from Athens for the day. They love my little one.

One of my favorite ladies, Anne, brought her sweet boy by. BG loves Mac. She asked for him for days afterwards. Think she might have a crush?

Our neighbor brought her little girl on over too. BG loves this girl.

I am so thankful for these ladies and their families. I'm thankful for the new friendships I've made here. I'm thankful that my past relationships are still so great. Most of all, I'm thankful that these wonderful people adore my daughter and that their awesome children are her friends.

The day was perfect.

Honestly...I'm sooo jealous she has so many friends! haha. My poor girls have like no one. My one friend that has a son lives in Florida and while I'll see a few girls from high school sometimes, it's not enough for Meredith to reall form friendships. Its for this reason I'm so excited she'll be starting school in the fall and can meet some more kids!

Looks like it was the perfect day for your little girl! I am hoping we have just as much fun this weekend as we celebrate our two!
