Happy Birthday Mom!!!

So today is my mom's birthday!!!

Yay!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

I'd tell you how old she is, but I have a working brain. And it says I'm too sore to run from her if she tries to kill me. =)

If you know me at all you know I have a very unique relationship with all of my family. But I have such a supportive Mom!!




I'm thankful for the childhood I had. I was given every opportunity in the world to figure out who I am and what I was interested in. My parents allowed us kids to do everything at least once. With one stipulation; even if we didn't like it, we had to finish the current season, or class, or what not. I got to try so much with parents behind me in every way!


My mom is amazing! Any time I need her she will be there. Literally. She used to live 20 hours away from us and in 2005, after our 2nd miscarriage, she got my Dad and packed up the car and drove 20 some hours just so we wouldn't be by ourselves, in Missouri on Christmas, one day after losing our baby. There is no one I want more when I'm sick or down than my Mom.


And I love how she gets my pups Christmas presents. I mean duh. I get that she wants grandkids, but she realizes she does have 3 that will take all the loving she wants to give til the people ones get here!!

So Happy Birthday Mom! Thank you for all that you do. For the calls, the support, the cards just to say you love me or just Hi. The questions (they kept me out of more trouble than you realize!). The honesty. Thanks for being the type of Mom that I could talk to about my first kiss or first boyfriend. Thanks for listening. Thanks for the advice. Thanks for teaching me that I'm really good at rolling my eyes! (Kidding.. but I am good at it!) Thanks for everything. Thanks for helping me realize that I will be able to be a Mom someday. Hope you had a great 53rd birthday!!
