(almost) wordless wednesday
When Mom sleeps in on a Sunday morning and it's up to the Dad to handle breakfast, the Dad and the kid will sneak off only to return with a dozen doughnuts. And it is so good...

ww: an afternoon with my best girls
I absolutely love living close enough to family to have these sort of moments. I hope these two are always the best of friends.

wordless wednesday
The lighting in our bathroom is terrible awful and BG can't sit still for the life of her lending a less than stellar quality to some of the pictures I snapped last night. But I don't care. I love these. This girl makes me smile so hard.

{almost} wordless wednesday
We busted out the gingerbread house for a fun Christmas activity Sunday night. We might have eaten as much as we put together. Who cares though. It was a blast and the little one absolutely loved getting to help. Such a fun activity for her at this age!

Oh. And that thing is still hanging out on our kitchen counter. My Mama heart might tear up a bit when I finally throw it away.

a thanksgiving edition of ww
Thanksgiving was good.
There was tons of good food. Good company. And lots of laughs.
We had dinner with Mr. P's family, but my grandfather and Aunt made the drive up to join us. BG loved being the center of attention of so many she loves, though she chose to stick pretty close to Mr. P's cousin for most of the day.
It was low key and simple. It was good.

Love my people.
Be sure and check out our Facebook page. kthnxbai :)

(almost) wordless wednesday
A few weeks ago, I got the husband the kiddo all dolled up and coerced the two of them out to a local park to attempt a few family pictures. I was bound and determined to get at least one good family shot to use for our Christmas cards.
I really, really need a remote for my camera because it's actually not too easy to do the run and shuffle with the self timer while still managing to appear composed for pictures. Fun.
But we did it. And with minimal complaining by my people. Also, we managed to score a pretty decent shot (if I do say so myself) for our cards. Which I'm not posting just yet. That will have to wait. But here's a few others from the "shoot". Good grief I love my people.

(almost) wordless wednesday
The other afternoon, the little and I headed out with the camera and her red wagon to capture some shots. Because 31 months is a milestone right?
Right. Well probably not. But she's 31 months old. And getting so big and so sassy and I just love her and love pictures of her.

All of these pictures courtesy of telling her "DON'T SMILE!!" over and over. So glad she listens so well.
