project 365: 2012 wrap-up

So I clearly quit posting my Project 365, but I did keep taking the pictures. So for grins and giggles, I'm posting them. Let's wrap up 2012 shall we?

WEEK 47:
Sunday, November 25th: Hanging out after church.
Monday, November 26th: A little Daddy/daughter tv time.
Tuesday, November 27th: She was doing a little morning entertaining before heading to school.
Wednesday, November 28th: Isn't this how everyone eats and watches tv?
Thursday, November 29th: Hanging out with her bud at the park.
Friday, November 30th: Reading to Dad while waiting on the Christmas program to start at church.
Saturday, December 1st: Playing with her best friend at the mall play place.

WEEK 48:
Sunday, December 2nd: Waiting on the Christmas parade in Anderson to start.
Monday, December 3rd: Sweet sleepy baby.
Tuesday, December 4th: Christmas clothes!!
Wednesday, December 5th: The rule about taking off one accessory before walking out the door is obsolete in this girls mind. She loves layers.
Thursday, December 6th: Love my girl so hard.
Friday, December 7th: Only picture of the day. TV time from the couch = bliss.
Saturday, December 8th: She loves animals. She couldn't get enough of the sheep at the Live Nativity.

WEEK 49:
Sunday, December 9th: Suckers in the tub is pure genius. Mess problem solved.
Monday, December 10th: Dinner shenanigans with the bff.
Tuesday, December 11th: Apparently I like pictures of sleeping babies...
Wednesday, December 12th: The elves brought a gift!
Thursday, December 13th: A super long, trying day means the little and I have a McDonalds picnic on the floor while watching a movie.
Friday, December 14th: Oh look, she sleeps.
Saturday, December 15th: The baby Jesus from the Nativity is supposed to be in the manger, but you can tell BG's been around when he's in "his Mama's arms". Sweet girl.

WEEK 50:
Sunday, December 16th: She is so cool.
Monday, December 17th: We hit the Christmas card jack pot this day! BG loved opening them all.
Tuesday, December 18th: My angel after her Christmas play.
Wednesday, December 19th: When did she get so grown?!
Thursday, December 20th: Reindeer cupcakes for BG's class.
Friday, December 21st: While waiting for the doctor to fix her arm, the little passed out cold on her Mama. While I miss the cuddles, I did not like her being in so much pain. :(
Saturday, December 22nd: Waiting in line to see Santa!

WEEK 51:
Sunday, December 23rd: My poor sick girl :(
Monday, December 24th: Heading back to the ER on Christmas Eve.
Tuesday, December 25th: The five minutes that BG felt well on Christmas she made sure to put on a show.
Wednesday, December 26th: Hanging out with her Daddy.
Thursday, December 27th: Road tripping to Maryland with my two favorite girls.
Friday, December 28th: BG running around in my boots.
Saturday, December 29th: Hanging out with my favorite niece.

WEEK 52:
Sunday, December 30th: BG loving all over the Neanderthal exhibit at the Natural History Museum in DC.
Monday, December 31st: The sister in law and I ringing in the New Year!!

project 365: week 46

WEEK 46
Sunday, November 18th: Another day, another babywearing ensemble.
Monday, November 19th: I'm not usually a bows on my outfit kind of girl, but this sweater makes me smile big time. Bows on the elbows and all.
Tuesday, November 20th: Working on our letters. Girlfriend is a pro.
Wednesday, November 21st: A little Daddy/daughter dress up time after work. He is such a good sport.
Thursday, November 22nd: My little sous chef helping prepare Thanksgiving dinner.
Friday, November 23rd: Thanksgiving leftovers for the win. Even this kid will eat them. That's huge.
Saturday, November 24th: All dressed up and ready to go Christmas tree shopping!

p 365: week 45 & 46

WEEK 45
Sunday, November 4th: BG decided she needed to read her babies a story before nap time. So she picked out Field & Stream. She is her father's daughter.
Monday, November 5th: BG and I did our civic duty and voted.
Tuesday, November 6th: Civic duty x 3 = done!
Wednesday, November 7th: BG and I fixing her baby's arm. For the 100th time.
Thursday, November 8th: BG and her bff E involved in a full out bear hug. Those girls love each other so much.
Friday, November 9th: Wine and Skip-bo on a Friday night. Mr. P and I party animals I tell ya.
Saturday, November 10th: Playing around in Mr. P's uncle's old fire boots. She could hardly walk!

WEEK 46
Sunday, November 11th: I cheated. This is from the 10th. But I just love this one of me and my girl and this is all I've got so.. that's that.
Monday, November 12th: Headed to check out potential new schools!
Tuesday, November 13th: Traffic at Chickfila. Typical.
Wednesday, November 14th: I'm so thankful that BG has the type of Dad who while trying to get out the door to get to work, still took the time to sit down with her when she asked him to for "just one minute". Love them so.
Thursday, November 15th: Making up a new game.
Friday, November 16th: My little babywearing hippie. I absolutely love this.
Saturday, November 17th: BG and sweet L at Target yesterday. So thankful we have friends to make even a routine Target trip an adventure!

Sunday, September 30th: A red sucker in church clothes might not be my best idea ever.
Monday, October 1st: This is what happens when BG dresses herself.
Tuesday, October 2nd: BG and her new buddy at their first park playdate.
Wednesday, October 3rd: Lunch date with my best pal.
Thursday, October 4th: Attempting bed time with the little and her new buddy, Arito.
Friday, October 5th: Loving on Granny and Grandaddy's cat.
Saturday, October 6th: A sushi date in Savannah with the bff.

WEEK 41:
Sunday, October 7th: Playing around at Papa's house in Savannah.
Monday, October 8th: Somebody wasn't feeling 100% and was all snuggly. Mama loves the snuggles.
Tuesday, October 9th: BG's OOTD.
Wednesday, October 10th: Headed to the fair.
Thursday, October 11th: Entertaining us with her antics while she was supposed to be doing her treatment. She is hilarious.
Friday, October 12th: My baby feeding her baby.
Saturday, October 13th: A little gift for Mama while on an afternoon wagon ride.

WEEK 42:
Sunday, October 14th: BG was playing "I'm a monster!".
Monday, October 15th: Taking a nature walk.
Tuesday, October 16th: At library story time, we ran into an old high school friend of Mr. P's and his little girl. Small town... I'm not used to running into people we know out and about!
Wednesday, October 17th: This makes my heart so happy.
Thursday, October 18th: L and BG on a pumpkin patch trip with their playgroup.
Friday, October 19th: Lazy, sunny afternoons with my girl are absolute perfection.
Saturday, October 20th: Checking out Daddy's stand.

WEEK 43:
Sunday, October 21st: Mr. P and BG "talking" to squirrels at the park.
Monday, October 22nd: Pumpkin painting.
Tuesday, October 23rd: Since BG is currently on nap strike, sometimes this happens in the afternoon. And it is glorious.
Wednesday, October 24th: L & BG at the park.
Thursday, October 25th: Sweet girl reading her Bible early one morning.
Friday, October 26th: Hard at work on BG's Halloween costume.
Saturday, October 27th: Hanging with Uncle Tim in Grandaddy's stand.

WEEK 44:
Sunday, October 28th: BG & I headed out to the woods for a bit with Daddy.
Monday, October 29th: BG loves that cat far more than he loves her...
Tuesday, October 30th: Our 2012 pumpkin!
Wednesday, October 31st: My sweet Princess :)
Thursday, November 1st: BG playing with all her "friends".
Friday, November 2nd: A little bit of "independent" (ie: I'm 2 inches away as opposed to 1) play.
Saturday, November 3rd: Helping Daddy rake the yard.

project 365: week 39

WEEK 39
Sunday, September 23rd: We decided that we needed ice-cream since it is still hotter than blue blazes here in SC. BG was okay with that decision.
Monday, September 24th: BG has been a little "off" the past few weeks. I think it's a combination of allergies and adjusting to the new routine of things. This morning, all she wanted to do was lay in my bed and watch tv. Who am I to say no to cuddles?!
Tuesday, September 25th: I feel like this is a picture she would "detag" on Facebook, but it's the only one I have from this day so..
Wednesday, September 26th: Being silly with my sweet girl.
Thursday, September 27th: Making some friends in her new town. Got to get this girl in some sort of program... She talked to this poor girl for at least ten minutes!
Friday, September 28th: It may be the end of September but it is still HOT in SC and BG is still rocking her rompers. Oh, and carrying her drink in her purse apparently. She does what she wants.
Saturday, September 29th: It's that dress again.... She would wear it everyday I tell you.

a big 'ol catch up

So I sort of fell off the project 365 bandwagon. Kind of.

I've still been taking my pictures just not posting them. So here goes a big 'ol P365 catch up. I realize no one reads these but I LOVE looking back at there so we are doing it anyway.

WEEK 34
Sunday, August 19th: We took a walk down to feed the ducks at our favorite park while Nonny was here for a visit.
Monday, August 20th: Yogurt date.
Tuesday, August 21st: I guess she was trying to cool off?!
Wednesday, August 22nd: Daddy's idea of getting ready for bed and Mommy's idea are clearly very different. I prefer not getting her riled up but apparently that's just me. ;)
Thursday, August 23rd: A little treat for after school.
Friday, August 24th: It was "yellow day" at school and this one was pretty excited.
Saturday, August 25th: How we do breakfast around here..
WEEK 35
Sunday, August 26th: She may not be wearing any pants, but at least her accessories are cool.
Monday, August 27th: At the park with her bff.
Tuesday, August 28th: Doing a little bathroom reading. No lie, she asks to read Field & Stream while "going". Odd kid she is.
Wednesday, August 29th: Playing with her buddy.
Thursday, August 30th: Saying goodbye to the squirrel before sending it to wildlife rehab.
Friday, August 31st: After the Midnight Flight. So glad we finished!
Saturday, September 1st: "Watching" the Clemson game with friends.

WEEK 36
Sunday, September 2nd: Lunch after church.
Monday, September 3rd: Gah. These two..
Tuesday, September 4th: We were supposed to be packing. This is what we were doing.
Wednesday, September 5th: We got to go meet BG's former teachers' little baby. BG was smitten, of course.
Thursday, September 6th: At the park with her bff again.
Friday, September 7th: My favorite coworker and I on my last day :(
Saturday, September 8th: ...and we're in the country now.
WEEK 37
Sunday, September 9th: On the way home from our first day at the new church.
Monday, September 10th: My Georgia girl at her new home in South Carolina.
Tuesday, September 11th: Happy 30th to me!
Wednesday, September 12th: My sweet, sweet baby. I love watching her sleep (cue creepy Mom alert).
Thursday, September 13th: We were in town for four days before we had car trouble. Good thing we found a decent car shop pretty quickly. BG was making sure they didn't jack our car.
Friday, September 14th: We ran out of ideas for fun things to do so we made our own rainshower in the shower. This entertained her for 20 minutes. TWENTY MINUTES people. That's huge.
Saturday, September 15th: Riding the school bus while Mommy shopped.

WEEK 38
Sunday, September 16th: Modeling her new jammies. Pretty sure they are "boy" jammies but she loved that they had "Blue" on them.
Monday, September 17th: Oh look, "Blue" again.
Tuesday, September 18th: It was a rainy day outside, so we built our first fort inside. Win.
Wednesday, September 19th: A very early morning "Princess" play date.
Thursday, September 20th: Scariest looking cookie ever but she loved it.
Friday, September 21st: A little bit of "school" time.
Saturday, September 22nd: Helping watching Daddy clean out the garage.

project 365: week 33

WEEK 33
Sunday, August 12th: We headed to the park for a while and my little girl wanted nothing to do with the toddler side. She headed straight for the big kids part and spent the rest of the time jumping off of every surface she could find.
Monday, August 13th: Wearing her "straight jacket" and Daddy's hat. Slap styling she is.
Tuesday, August 14th: A very, very simple OOTD managed to make it on my Instagram. I am so not stylish. There won't be many of those posts.
Wednesday, August 15th: My very messy vanity while trying to get ready in the morning.
Thursday, August 16th: I told you I've been doing a lot of laundry. BG's bed is stripped far more often than it is made these days.
Friday, August 17th: My husband spoils me. I get breakfast before work every day. So lucky.
Saturday, August 18th: BG likes taking naps with her Mama. I like having this adorable little bed buddy. Double win.

project 365: weeks 31 & 32

WEEK 31:
Sunday, July 29th: Oops.
Monday, July 30th: A late afternoon snap and some cartoons on the couch with my girl. Best part of my day.
Tuesday, July 31st: Well apparently it's snack time again. We like to eat around here.
Wednesday, August 1st: Apparently this happens at school. And she brags about it when she gets home. "Mommy I kissed Jake!". Y'all, I can't even...
Thursday, August 2nd: My pretty girl ready for school.
Friday, August 3rd: An afternoon play session with Daddy. I'm sure she was having much more fun than the face would have you believe!
Saturday, August 4th: She wanted to have a tea party. Then she wanted to have a tea party in her shelving units. Crazy kid.

WEEK 32:
Sunday, August 5th: Playing peek-a-boo on the way to the lake.
Monday, August 6th: BG has decided that taking her diaper off at night and peeing all over the place is a great time. This was the inaugural event. It was sort of funny this night; it's not longer funny.
Tuesday, August 7th: Quiet time.
Wednesday, August 8th: Scary Spice after a run. It feels so good to be back out there!
Thursday, August 9th: BG is not a morning person. Once I finally drug her out of the bed, I returned to her room five minutes later to find her sleeping on the floor. Her teen years ought to be a blast.
Friday, August 10th: The Chick-fil-a cow came to BG's school on Friday. I knew it wasn't going to go well, at least with BG. I was right. This is the closest her class would get to the cow; the van.
Saturday, August 11th: Hanging out with my girl on a lazy Saturday morning. Yes, we are still in the bed. Yes, it was like 11. Who cares.

project 366: weeks 29 & 30

WEEK 29:
Sunday, July 15th: Taking an early morning walk with my girl. Love when she holds my hand.
Monday, July 16th: Our nighttime must read.
Tuesday, July 17th: Giddy toddler. Literally two seconds before this she was crying her head off. Toddlers.
Wednesday, July 18th: Playing Princesses before school.
Thursday, July 19th: BG and her bff hanging out after a run.
Friday, July 20th: My other sweet girl.
Saturday, July 21st: The girls having a blast at the outlets.

WEEK 30:
Sunday, July 22nd: She woke up not feeling so hot, but still looking mighty adorable.
Monday, July 23rd: We gave up on the potty chart. She keeps her stickers now.
Tuesday, July 24th: I had dinner with a Princess this night :)
Wednesday, July 25th: Hanging out with Mary Brooks.
Thursday, July 26th: She wanted me to wear her crown she made. Melt my heart.
Friday, July 27th: My silly girl being the class clown at school.
Saturday, July 28th: "Take my picture Mommy. NO!!! No take my picture Mommy!!!". Kid you not. Toddlers are bipolar.

project 365: all caught up

And I'm caught up! Thank goodness. Let's not get that far behind again child.



WEEK 27:
1st- She has the sweetest cheeks I've ever seen.
2nd- She walked in on me putting curlers in my hair one morning while I was getting ready for work and immediately wanted some of her. So some of her own she got. And then she rocked two little curls in her head the rest of the day "just like Mommy". Slays me I tell you.
3rd- BG had an accident in the car on the way to Daddy's work after school which is just plain odd. Then, in the five minute car ride home, I looked back and saw this. Never a good sign. Sure enough, the rest of the night was a disaster.
4th- I hung out with a fairy on the Fourth. What did you do?
5th- No clue. But it is literally the only picture I have from this day.
6th- Mr. P showing BG a roly poly at Papa's house in Savannah.
7th- My grandparent's house; aka, a little slice of heaven.

WEEK 28:
8th- The car ride home after an amazing weekend back home. She totally jacked her Dad's hat.
9th- Lining her toys up in the tub.
10th- The only picture I got all day; the toddler running away. Which is way more real life than you can imagine.
11th- Rocking the pirate patch and taking her babies along on her evening ride.
12th- Oh you know, just cooking in my kitchen.
13th- Friday the 13th. Enough said.
14th- She's my favorite person y'all. We're going to be best friends forever.

project 366: weeks 23-26 (catching up)

Apparently it's catch up time. Somewhere along the way I stopped posting my Project 365(6) pictures, but I have still been taking them, so let's just do a big 'ol catch up now.

WEEK 23:
3rd- BG spent the afternoon walking around her grandparent's house in Granny's shoes. Good thing she's not sassy at all.
4th- After a long weekend of not being home, I had three animals that would not leave my side for even a second.
5th- BG's last day of school in the toddler class :(
6th- Date night at the ZZ Top concert.
7th- I got this picture of my precious niece's "poop face" from my brother. Nice.
8th- Mr. P was trying to pack up BG's old cradle to take to her new cousin but she had other plans..
9th- Precious.

WEEK 24:
10th- Somebody had a bit of baby envy while in Myrtle Beach.
11th- Bath time with BG; always a grand time.
12th- She found a pair of my earring and decided she should "wear" them. Oh, and she's sporting her attitude face.
13th- Chasing bubbles in the yard.
14th- BG made Mr. P a Father's Day present at school and couldn't wait to give it to him. So we headed straight up to work to see him. He loved it duh.
15th- Little girl; big shoes.
16th- Loving the slide something fierce.



WEEK 25:
17th- BG and I attended a baby shower for her teacher this afternoon. She was pleased as punch that her BFF was there. :)
18th- Serious about her biscuit eating.
19th- Books with Daddy before bed.
20th- We had to stop by the grocery store on the way home from work/school which I cannot stand doing. Somehow this one got a treat for the trip. I got nada.
21st- My other sweet girl.
22nd- Oh look, books before bed again..
23rd- My girls :)

WEEK 26:
24th- This is BG's current "smile". Nice huh?
25th- We were "supervising" as Daddy cleaned out the garage. She looks comfy no with her feet all up on my back?!
26th- My sweet, sweet girl after school.
27th- Big girl rocking the pony tail to school and looking way too grown for me to handle.
28th- Best friends. For real, they adore each other.
29th- She comes home; she finds my shoes. Every single day.
30th- Play time with BG. Always a good time.

I am almost caught up. I should be smacked if I get this far behind again.

project 366: week 22

This weekend was epic y'all. Epic. It involved four cities in four days, a wedding, a new baby, and a delicious low country boil on the ocean.

It also involved toddler tantrums, having to leave said wedding early, little sleep, and lots of driving.

Yea. So we're recovering.

We received the sweetest gift in the mail and BG had to try it on immediately. She loved the "princesses" on it.

Wednesday, May 30th:

We headed down to Charleston after work for a wedding weekend. BG was up and hard core the entire way until I looked back and saw this, a whole 10 minutes from the destination. Nice.

Thursday, May 31st:

Trying to get this child to stand still and take a picture is like Chinese water torture. All I wanted was a cute shot of her in her rehearsal dinner dress.

Friday, June 1st:

While Mr. P was busy doing groomsman things, BG and I went shopping with one of the other groomsman's wife and daughter. We had such a good time with them.

Saturday, June 2nd:

In an unexpected twist to our weekend, we ended up in Myrtle Beach waiting on my first little niece to enter the world. She did, and she's perfect!!

project 366: week 21

Sunday, May 20th:

The problem with buying your kids clothes a season ahead is that they may possibly not fit when you get to the correct season. And then you will be sad when you have to sell an oh so cute dress on Ebay that your kid never got to wear. Sigh...

Monday, May 21st:

We had a low key celebration for Mr. P's birthday this year. Of course there was cake (or hot pink Princess cupcakes picked out by the toddler) as evidenced by BG's mouth in this picture. Then she helped him open his cards and gifts. This girl managed to get ZZ Top concert tickets for him. I may currently be winning the Wife of the Year race. Just saying.

Tuesday, May 22nd:

I redid BG's room again. We just flat out need more space. Although this layout works for now...

Wednesday, May 23rd:

Heading into school one early morning.

Thursday, May 24th:

BG and her best buddy, E, at their school's water day. They had a blast!

Friday, May 25th:

So much sass.

Saturday, May 26th:

Starting the holiday weekend off right with the pool at 9 am. No clue why that seemed like a good time to get outside. Toddler hours are crazy.

project 366: weeks 19 & 20

WEEK 19
Sunday, May 6th:

Ice cream sandwiches outside on a hot summer day. Win.

Monday, May 7th:

The scene at my house far too often these days.

Tuesday, May 8th:
She dragged the tub over there and then got to work on the Tupperware drawer. Whatever floats your boat..

Wednesday, May 9th:

She is sort of like my very own dress up doll. True story.

Thursday, May 10th:

Visiting the bro and sister-in-law (that is still so weird to say!).

Friday, May 11th:

If she doesn't look pleased to be on the beach, it's because she wasn't. I am just about convinced the kid didn't get any of my DNA.

Saturday, May 12th:

Still pretty unimpressed with the whole beach thing, but at least she's playing!

WEEK 20
Sunday, May 13th:

Helping Pops navigate the luggage to the car.

Monday, May 14th:

Somehow it was the adults of the houses anniversary and the only picture I took all day was of the child of the house at the park. Seriously?

Tuesday, May 15th:

So this is how she watches tv. She gets that from her Daddy. ;)

Wednesday, May 16th:

She's so, so sweet when she sleeps.

Thursday, May 17th:

Rocking shorts and a t-shirt and pigtails all like a big girl. Why is she growing so fast?!

Friday, May 18th:

"Sleeping" in her baby's bed. She fake snores and all y'all. She slays me.

Saturday, May 19th:

A little front porch sittin' with Mom. I'm pretty sure my heart exploded when she reached over and grabbed my hand and then proceeded to lay her head on my should. Yea, she knows how to work me.

project 366: week 18

Sunday, April 29th:

BG has taken to biting her fingernails here lately. In an effort to curb that, I decided to paint her fingers and toes with "Princess" polish so that they'd be too beautiful for her to bite. Not sure that that worked, but my girl sure did enjoy her first little pedicure.

Monday, April 30th:

The little one was slightly sluggish on Monday morning as we were getting ready for school. Her teacher told me she wasn't slowing down any at school but then I got this with the caption "first one to sleep. That NEVER happens!". Whatever was bothering her that day is completely gone now though.

Tuesday, May 1st:

Wednesday, May 2nd:

I came home to this on Wednesday. Apparently Mr. P had picked up this little toy from Target and was so excited to show BG that he had picked her up early from school and already had her out there when I got home. Yes, her suit is on backwards...

Thursday, May 3rd:

Friday, May 4th:

With her buddies at school. Kid is such a ham.

Saturday, May 5th:

BG and I rode with Tiff and T down to Columbia for little Hayes' birthday yesterday. I'll let his Mama show you pictures first, but this one ought to speak for how much fun they had.
