We're those people...

So I might have mentioned before... Mr. Perfect and I tend to have conversations through our pets. Case in point.

Last nite after bawling my eyes out having just watched Marley and Me again (seriously...just as sad the second time, and I asked to own it?!), I had a monster headache. Something our dog Duke was doing was making it worse.

So I yelled at him.

Mr. Perfect pipes up with this in his Duke voice,

"Mom, you just watched Marley and Me... Did you learn nothing?!?"

Duke just sat there with his big old sad eyes and I had to laugh.

I do love my boys.. =)

Hemlines....

I've been doing some hardcore minor online shopping today. Just browsing looking for cute summer dresses. It's so hot here in the summer that you need light, breezy clothes to survive.

That doesn't mean I want just a couple inches of fabric to cover myself with thank you!!

I mean seriously?! What is up with the hemlines this year? I'm not even sure you can call most of the dresses I've seen today dresses. You should call them tablecloths. Oh no.. table runners!

I'd like my butt covered up please.

I'm 5'8 people. Not a giant per se but throw a tall girl with long legs a bone please!!

April Showers

First of all.. Thank you guys so much for your comments on my last post!! It made my day! I am feeling much better today. Just needed a blah day but I'm back.. =)

It could be that I'm doing so much better because Megan is finally off of Idol... Yay!!

The Hills is back on Monday!!

Oh yea.. I'm super excited about this. I know, I know.. but I love it! I don't care if it's real, fake, anything. I love it.

The hubs likes it too. Or at least he watches it with me every week. I do love that man!

If it rains much longer, I am afraid our house might float away.

My dogs haven't been out for even an hour in the last 2 days. They are driving me crazy.

The bestest is in town from Charleston this weekend. Yay!! I haven't seen my girl in a month of Sundays. We are way overdue for a reunion!

I put on a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear for years tonite. They were loose!! Score!!

Yep.. I'm doing much better today.. =)

I'm having a blah week.

It's been a hard week for me personally as I would be 20 weeks this week and we would be finding out what we were being blessed with...

I have 3 friends who got pregnant right about the same time I did. One's expecting a girl, one a boy, and one still has a couple of weeks til she finds out. And while my heart is bursting with joy for each one of them, it also sends me running to the bathroom quite a bit to gather myself.

I am also emotionally trying to gear up for another procedure that may or may not help in our pregnancy loss battle. And it's getting harder and harder to face all this head on.

I'll be better tomorrow. I'm just sad today....

Funniest thing a man said today.

A woman dropped off her cat this morning for treatment. We're talking a 16 year old, sick, cat. He's cranky, old, grouchy, ugly.. but clearly loved.

Or at least by the woman.

This afternoon she sends her husband to pick him up. This was after she called multiple times to check on "Stormy". He gets there, checks out, our receptionist brings him the cat and asks,

"Is there anything else I can get for you or Stormy today?"

Man looks right back at her and says,

"I'm good. But he could use a coffin."

I cracked up. I don't even know why that's so funny to me. Goes to show you what a man will do for his wife though!!

Also- Thank you Dancing with the Stars for finally getting rid of the "Woz". While endearing he was just getting harder and harder to watch. Let's keep up with the good eliminations by getting rid of Megan tomorrow!!
