another first.

While Mr. Perfect was in SC and BG and I were hanging out in Coastal Town, my bff and I decided to take her to the fair for the first time.

Really we went because AP was dying for some fair food.

So we packed BG up and bundled her up since it was the coldest night we'd had yet, and headed off to the fair.

AP was super excited about heading to the fairgrounds but not such a fan of the cold weather.

We were really excited..

Me and my girl.

Seriously. Could she be any cuter?!?

She was bundled up so much I'm shocked she could move.

Well, she sort of could. ;)

I am a huge fan of fair games. Yes, they are ridiculously over priced and the last time I played I ended up with the fish that just wouldn't die, but I love them. So of course I had to attempt to win BG a prize right?

Right.

Great idea to give the girl with frozen fingers a set of darts right?

And is it a set?

Whatever.

But I won. A teddy bear. That had a ridiculously heavy had and quickly became dubbed the "heroin bear" because I'm not convinced the guy running the games didn't smuggle drug within it's head.

The head was that heavy.

I still gave the bear to BG. Hmm...

I was kind of bummed that I wasn't able to ride rides til I felt like puking, but my stomach was pretty glad I couldn't. That and it was so cold I might have stuck to the metal seat.

After a while, BG was getting us her diva "I'm over this" face so we headed to the front.

But we stopped to see those guys that say they can guess your age/weight/birthday first. We went to one guy and had him guess my age. He guessed 24. He guessed wrong. I won a bear. Then AP had a guy guess hers (different guy- we had a strategy going folks). He guessed 28. She's 27.

Oops.

We swallowed her pride along with a funnel cake.

BG had puffs for the second time.

After an hour or so of walking around, way too much fair food, two new stuffed bears, 30 frozen finger and 29 frozen toes (kidding), and one wounded ego later, we headed out.

Very successful first fair. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up and waiting for next year to do it all over again.

That is one cute muffin of a baby you have there! The one where she kind of has her eyebrows raised in a quizzical look she looks just like you!
